I love this book July 13, 2010 Barbara (Northern California) This book, by an MD, debunks many of the myths on how to eat to stay healthy, ways to move for health, alternative therapies and meditation. I found it really enlightening.
Excellent! March 16, 2010 C. McReynolds (California) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I found the book easy to read and the advice is incredible. I wish I had the money to run to this doctor as all doctors should follow this path. I tried the Pineapple fast for 3 days for back pain and found it to work! I wish it were bigger with more advice on all sorts of illnesses. Amazing to find a medical doctor who has common sense, is knowledgeable about nutrition, and combines it with the rest of what makes us tick. I'm changing to a PPO next year so I can get some real medical attention.
Alternative experience December 21, 2009 nvalen (Vermont) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This book is an excellent alternative to conventional medicine. It emphasizes the importance of wholistic healthcare and the mind body connection. This book will appeal to you most if you're already interested in this way of life. If you're new to alternative healthcare, this book may seem a bit radical. I do, however, think 100% of people can benefit from what this book has to offer, if you're willing to utlize and apply its information.
Will be part of my library for a very long time August 12, 2009 S. Agarwal (New Jersey, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We really liked reading this book. It presents a very unique approach to get an understanding on healing from various illnesses. It will continue to be a valuable reference in my library.
Fabulous July 1, 2009 Paula Tarver (Austin, TX) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Very good thought provoking information. We truly have been deceived in many of our modern food and medical practices. I want to share this info, but I don't want to loan my book. I reference it too often.
