I bought this book because I had a feeling that I wasn't being told everything I needed to know about my thyroid condition by my general practitioner, as it turned out I was right.
The book is very informative, but a bit repetitious. I'm glad I bought it as it prompted me to go to an endocrinologist who is now alleviating many of my symptoms that my general practitioner pretty much made me feel was just in my head, obviously going to find a new general m.d.
I recommend this book to anyone that's just been diagnosed with a thyroid condition, or if you just feel "not yourself."

good book, although after I bought I found out that I did not have it.
The Thyroid Solution April 4, 2010 Pam Brown Some of the terminology was difficult to understand, or required me to do some research then re-read that section, but overall it was interesting and pertinent to my situation. It has helped me in my discussions with my physicians.

I'm learning so much from this book. I have hypothyroid and never realized just how many of my symptoms are related to thyroid.
I highly recommend this for anyone who has or thinks they have hypo or hyperthyroid. so glad I saw a book review and order it.
